Membership renewals are due for the 2009-2010 fiscal year. All VAFRE members, excluding those who joined after April 15, 2009, are currently due for renewal. To pay your dues online, and purchase a Season Pass if you desire, click here. You will need to log in and click on the renewal link near the top of the page. Remember, your user name is your e-mail address, and the default password is “password.”
Following this link will allow you to pay your dues and, if you desire, purchase a Season Pass. You may either complete the online process or print out a copy of the renewal and send it to us with a check. If you elect to purchase a Season Pass, your $185.00 payment includes your fee for the February workshop, the April Awards Luncheon, all regular VAFRE lunches and the Mini-Masters sessions. A Season Pass may be used by another VAFRE member, but is not refundable, and is in addition to your dues payment.
While you are logged in, you should confirm your contact information that is listed in the directory is current. Also, be sure to check out the new features in the directory that allow members to upload a biography and photo, add links to their web page, Facebook or Linked In profiles, or blog sites.
The VAFRE Knowledge Network is also now active. This function will allow members to share knowledge that they have gained on a variety of professional/development topics with other members. Each member is encouraged to select the relevant areas of knowledge when they are updating their profiles. When members log in to search the directory, they will soon have the option of searching on an area of knowledge and finding all of the other members who have indicated they have an interest in/knowledge of that topic.
Please note that members who have not renewed by September 30 will not be eligible for the member rate at upcoming meetings and will no longer be able to access the member section of the web site. Also note that, if you are not prepaying for your meetings, you will have an opportunity to register and pay separately for each meeting as always. The member registration fee for regular lunch meetings remains $18.00.
