Join us at our Brown Bag session at Special Olympics Virginia on Tuesday, July 12 for the first of our two summer Brown Bag Luncheons when two VAFRE members discuss the research they’ve each done as part of their work for the Master of Nonprofit Studies program at the University of Richmond’s School of Professional and Continuing Studies. Amy Bridge will discuss her findings on Women in Nonprofit Leadership and Kathy Laing will review her findings on Investing in Nonprofit Talent.
Amy Bridge has just completed a term on the VAFRE Board of Directors and currently serves as the Executive Director of the Library of Virginia Foundation. Amy has 14 years of nonprofit experience, including serving as Richmond Director for Virginia Opera and Director of Development for The Valentine. She took a time out for eight years to serve as Director of the Executive Mansion for then-Governors Mark Warner and Tim Kaine.
