Your organization’s mission, vision and brand comprise the shared “DNA” of your marketing and fund development “Twins”. Our presenter, Viola O. Baskerville, will share her approach on how you can maximize the efforts and talents of your marketing and fund development divisions to address organizational challenges.
Viola O. Baskerville, J.D. is a native Virginian who has had extensive experience in formulating and executing value statements in both the governmental and private arenas through policy. She has served on Richmond's City Council and in the Virginia House of Delegates creating innovative approaches impacting land use, housing, education, women and children's health issues, small and minority -owned businesses and employment anti-discrimination policies. As Secretary of Administration responsible for an 800 million dollar budget under then Governor Timothy Kaine, she worked to implement statewide policy. As a private citizen, Ms. Baskerville has served on the Board of Visitors for Longwood University, setting higher education policy; and on the Governor's Commission on Integrity in Government, examining and recommending ethical guidelines for elected and appointed Virginia officials. Currently, she sits on the Virginia Outdoors Foundation's Board of Trustees, setting creative statewide policies regarding land conservation and historic resources preservation. She has served on the boards of non-profits including the YWCA and the Jenkins Foundation.
