VAFRE Annual Meeting and State of the Organization

Registration

  • For members of VAFRE
  • For individuals who are not VAFRE members, but work at an organization that does employ a member.
  • For individuals who are not VAFRE members and do not work at an organization that employs a member.
  • For VAFRE members who have prepaid for all of their meetings.

For more than 35 years, VAFRE – the Virginia Association of Fundraising Executives - has provided a forum for networking and education for fundraising professionals at all levels. The welcoming and collegial environment that is the hallmark of VAFRE helps development professionals stay current on important issues in philanthropy and in the Central Virginia nonprofit community.  Friendships and mentor relationships strengthen the nonprofit community.

Join us for our Annual Meeting and State of the Organization on June 6th to discuss the strategic planning process the Board has just completed and the next steps identified to build an organization that supports our members and the nonprofit community.

  • 12:00 p.m. Luncheon and Program
  • 1:00 p.m. Adjourn (time approximate)

Menu

  • Regular: Honey BBQ Chicken with chef’s choice of sides and veggies, warm rolls
  • Veggie/gluten free: Hummus Platter - Garlic Hummus, Feta Cheese, Roasted Red Peppers, Toasted Almonds, Green Onion, Served with Grilled Pita & Vegetables

  • Dessert: Apple pie

In order to keep lunch costs low for our members and guests, Jefferson Lakeside is unable to accommodate special dietary requests beyond the gluten free and vegetarian options. If you have questions about the menu, please contact Mary Kidd at admin@vafre.org or by phone at 804/368-3398. 

Cost to attend

$20 for members (no additional fee for Season Pass holders), $25 for nonmembers employed by a member organization, and $30 for nonmember guests. Fees support program costs and administration. Registrations should be received by Wednesday, May 31st.

Cancellation Policy

Credits for a future meeting or refunds will be given if notification of cancellation is received at VAFRE’s office prior to noon on the Thursday before a regular Tuesday meeting. If cancellation is received after the Thursday before a regular Tuesday meeting, credits and refunds will be given at the discretion of the Management Company based on the number of late registrations received. In the event of illness or an emergency, credits or refunds may be granted at the discretion of the Management Company.
