Join VAFRE and the AFP Central Virginia Chapter for a look at this year's Giving USA report followed by a reception. Come hear the latest in giving trends, facts, and figures for our industry, and then socialize in a fantastic location with local fundraising and giving professionals. Food and drink provided!
As a member of The Giving Institute, an organization dedicated to promoting philanthropy though education, research and the ethical practice of fundraising, The Curtis Group is proud to present the results of Giving USA 2018. Giving USA is the longest-running, most comprehensive study on philanthropy and is published in partnership with the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy. The Curtis Group’s president and immediate past chair of the Giving USA Foundation, Keith Curtis (pictured at left), will provide analysis of the numbers and give recommendations on how the data can be strategically applied to nonprofits’ fundraising strategy for the coming year. In addition to an overview of the annual report on philanthropy, Keith will also facilitate a panel discussion with local fundraising professionals who will compare their organization’s fundraising trends with those in Giving USA.
Registration is $15 for AFP and VAFRE members and $20 for nonmembers.
