In keeping with VAFRE’s guiding value statements, we are constantly looking for ways to make membership more affordable and accessible to the philanthropic community. So we are happy to announce that after many requests, we have created a second membership term – a calendar year – for those organizations that operate on a calendar year and find it hard to pay membership dues on a fiscal calendar.
If you currently have a Fiscal year membership and would like to switch to a calendar year, we will offer a 6-month membership in July to cover the gap until next January.
Along with this change, there is now a 30 day grace period to renew, down from 45 days, and you will receive renewal notices 30 days prior to your membership expiration date.
This year, we are still offering a 6 month membership from now to July 2011 – and the best is yet to come. Penelope Burke at our National Speaker’s Workshop, our 30th Anniversary celebrations, and honoring our colleagues with the Nina Abady Award and the Rising Star Award.
