Upcoming Programs
Join us on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 for our luncheon program Developing a Compelling, Competitive Case for Support with Mary Ellen Stumpf, president of Stumpf & Associates, Inc., and David Hogge, principal of The Working Word. They will review relevant trends and the key elements, including calls to action, inspirations for support and the management of content, of a good case statement from varying perspectives based on their experiences and research. Lunch will be served at noon with the program following.
Also, be sure to mark your calendar for an upcoming VAFRE luncheon on October 6, when Harry Warner and Jenn Cornell, with West Avenue Associates, LLC, share, review and discuss the results of a “blind” survey of the donor acknowledgement practices of 25 Richmond-area non-profit organizations in their program, Best of the Best: A Regional Donor Acknowledgment Survey.
Check out the details on all of our upcoming meetings on the Events page of our website.

What Do Graduates
of P3 Say About the Program?
Stimulating. Provocative. Eye-opening.
Fun. Encouraging. Levelling. Amazing.
These are just a few of the words used to
describe VAFRE’s Professional Partnership Program (P3) by the 2014-2015
participants.
If you're still not sure P3 is for you, join
us at 11:30 on September 1st at Jefferson Lakeside Country Club for a glass of
iced tea and a chance to talk with some of the graduates to hear what they got
out of the program. Just e-mail our administrator, Mary Kidd, at admin@vafre.org to let her know you'd like to join the
discussion.
