Message from the President
It has been a wonderful year and an honor to serve as VAFRE President. We continue to elevate the priorities of our strategic plan with membership and the profession always in mind.
I am grateful for our amazing board, fantastic administrator and incredible members who are truly passionate about creating a better community and world.
Final Improv Time: Celebrate it all
Success breeds success; failure breeds success.
In improv, success is a great performance and scene hitting all of the marks, an entertained audience, a positive sentiment overall and a want to do and see more. In improv, failure is also a success. If you fail - what did you learn, and how do we move forward and continue to build?
Celebrate all of the successes from the past year and continue to build in a positive and accepting (yes, and) and supportive (got your back) manner.
Serving this wonderful organization has been a pleasure.
James Wasilewski, VAFRE President

Are you new to fund development or would you like to enhance your professional skill sets? If you answered “YES’ then VAFRE has great news for you!
The Professional Partnership Program (P3), now entering it's seventh year, offers VAFRE members the opportunity for small groups (the Partners) to meet a minimum of four times with two highly experienced facilitators (the Leaders) between October and June.
The Professional Partnership Program will encourage discussion and comment on job-related concerns of greatest interest to each group (identified by each participant completing an application detailing their interest and experience). Issues and topics for each session will be solicited in advance and facilitated by the Leaders.
Register by end of day June 30th at the discounted rate of $50. Beginning July 1st, the fee will increase to $75. (You must be logged in to access this event.)
Thanks to Fahrenheit Advisors for their sponsorship of the P3 program.
Hope to See You at VFRI
