New Member Benefit Coming Soon

Coming soon, VAFRE is excited to offer a new membership benefit to help fulfill your networking needs. VAFRE Affinity Groups are discussion forums and listservs targeted to specific interests within the fundraising field. Choose to join one or more groups that most interest you or relate to your career. You'll have the opportunity to ask questions from members, share new ideas and best practices, meet members in your field or connect to those you've already met, and create virtual meet-ups.

Look for notifications and instructions on how to join next month. We hope these groups not only allow us to network and meet during social distancing, but that they will be a useful resource in a post-Covid world. We can’t wait to see how the Affinity Groups add to your VAFRE experience.

Fundraising Tip of the Month: Get Your Story Straight

Your organization's ability to tell its story will greatly increase your odds of raising money and maximizing your organization's impact. Tell your story by focusing not just on what you do, but why it matters.

See you at our next virtual lunch-in, Groundhog Day: Fundraising Psychology During Uncertain Times.
