The VAFRE Nominating Committee is seeking nominations to fill vacant positions for the Board of Directors for the 2022/2023 fiscal year. Now is the time to take your membership to the next level and make a commitment to VAFRE or to nominate someone else for the Board. Your nominations are needed by Monday, February 28, 2022. Each nominee will receive a Candidate Interest Form that must be completed to be considered for a position by the Nominating Committee.

Eligibility and Term of Office: To be a director, you must be a member, in good standing.  Each elected Director shall take office on July 1, 2022 for a two-year term and is responsible for, along with other Board members, determining VAFRE policies and supporting the mission of the organization. March Program Discusses Wealth Screening, Virtually

Due to the continuing number of COVID cases around the country and in Virginia, the Programs Committee along with the VAFRE Board of Directors has determined that it is wise to hold our March 1st event as a virtual-only session.

Has your organization recently done a wealth screening or are considering doing one in the near future?

Join us on Tuesday, March 1st, as Megan Rollins of Boaz & Ruth and Nick Sollog of The Sollog Group share best practices for using data from a wealth screening return to help your organization know where to focus its time and resources to raise more money from your constituents. They will share the steps to take leading up to the data pull, including the selection of a vendor, as well as what to do once you receive the data return. Through a case study example, attendees will learn to use a wealth screen data return to determine who is more likely to make a gift and how to create more donor-specific solicitation strategies. Whether you are unsure of what a wealth screening is or you live inside of your data day in and day out, you will leave this session with tools that can be used for your organization and repeated year after year.

This VAFRE program, Best Practices for Wealth Screening: A Case Study has been approved for one hour of CFRE credit. Click here for complete details and to register.
