The Susan Early Scholarship Fund is available to new and renewing VAFRE members to cover the cost of your dues. To apply for a scholarship, follow the link in the member application or, for current members, follow the link on the Members Only page.

    Celebrate our 2022 Award Winners with Us 

    Join VAFRE on the afternoon of May 3rd as we honor our 2022 Nina Abady and Rising Star Award winners during a Reception at The Virginia War Memorial.

    • Thomas C. Burke is our Nina Abady winner. Tom's career at VCU spans 34 years in leadership roles at the School of Dentistry, the VCU Foundation, and he is now leading the university's gift planning efforts.
    • Leigh Busby is the Rising Star honoree. Leigh is the Development Director at Greater Richmond Fit4Kids.

    Join Us - VAFRE's Spring Member Social!

    It's that time again! Join VAFRE on Wednesday, May 18 from 5 - 7 p.m. for an informal Member Social at River City Roll. 

    Let's relax and enjoy each other's company at this boutique bowling alley located near Broad Street and Arthur Ashe Blvd (with parking available). We'll gather on their outdoor, covered patio and your first drink is on VAFRE (limited to Happy Hour only).

    For those feeling playful, VAFRE will have two bowling lanes available during the second half of our event.
