Join us at our Brown Bag session at Greater Richmond ARC on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 for the final session of our Professional Growth Sessions over the summer. Our previous session involved discussions about networking effectively and developing our professional relationships. The topic of our upcoming session is What is the Value of Professional Development?
We will feature a panel along with additional guests, such as Katie Botha (Vice President, Development & Communications, Special Olympics Virginia) and Christine Holland (Learning Institute Coordinator, Commonwealth Autism) in attendance and possibly others, to discuss the perspectives and perceptions of professional development, how staff and organizations benefit from it and why it is important to support to provide these opportunities to staff.

The panel discussion will be moderated by James Wasilewski.
Following the panel conversation and Q&A will be a brief networking session amongst attendees. At the conclusion of the program, a brief tour of Greater Richmond ARC will be offered for those who are interested.
