Our Program

We acknowledge that it takes a great deal of bravery to be a public servant. We frame "bravery" as how we show up for ourselves and one another in this work. We will engage in a dialogue to address the following: How can we find a balance in and out of the workplace? What does sustaining your future self look like? How do we connect our professional self and personal self? These questions lead to: how to build sustainable capacity and change? We will also provide a "toolkit" for participants as they "straddle the line."

Our Presenter

Fatima M. Smith, MSW, is the founder of Collective 365, a membership-based group of community conscious individuals who contribute their resources to give a platform for Black and Brown communities; helping them grow into community staples that can have a lasting impact in society. She is also an experienced social worker, a frequent speaker, a wife, a mom, and for the last two years has served as the Chief Deputy Clerk of Chesterfield County. Fatima is passionate about creating communities where violence and oppression are nonexistent and folks can be their healthy, authentic selves.
