Lifetime Member Ed Kardos has a new book out. The Elixir: Journey On, is Book III of The Elias Chronicles series by E.G. Kardos. Kardos, a longtime development officer with VCU and a founding member of VAFRE, is also a fantasy fiction writer, who draws inspiration from a lifelong passion for storytelling and artistic expression. The Elixir: Journey On (ISBN: 978-1-63984-520-0 paperback | 978-1-63984-521-7 e-book) is available in paperback and e-book formats through Pen It Publications. The paperback edition spans 194 pages and retails for $14.99; the e-book is $5.99. Kelly del Campo Merricks, CFRE, MBA, of Sheltering Arms Foundation, is the winner of the Nina Abady Award (above left). Impact 100 Richmond will accept applications for a $100,000 grant award this year from June 1, 2024 - July 15, 2024. Interested in learning more? Drawing from the recently released Giving USA report, as well as other national studies and reports, The Curtis Group will highlight key trends, patterns and shifts in charitable giving and their implications for major donors and nonprofits in Central Virginia and nationwide. A New VAFRE Job Posting!Are you comfortable facilitating meetings on Zoom? Do you like to attend VAFRE's monthly programs? Have we got the job for you!
