With the federal tax reform enacted in 2017 increasing filers’ standard deduction, a primary incentive for individuals to make charitable contributions has been eliminated.  One method taxpayers are increasingly adopting to circumvent those reduced deductions is creating donor advised funds.  What does this mean for nonprofit organizations?  How can we as fund raisers position our organizations to maximize contributions from these funds?  Join VAFRE and our panel of presenters for these and other answers at our May 7th meeting.

Approved for 2 hours of CFRE credit.
